Terms of Use
StudyRaah XI-XII was earlier called StudyBuddy XI-XII. Only the name has changed: every account, password, plan and record continues exactly as before, and this page applies to them in the same way.
For students, the simple rules:
- Use StudyRaah to study, honestly. Do your own quizzes and mock tests.
- Keep your password private. Do not share your account.
- Do not type personal details (phone number, address) into Ask StudyRaah or into a doubt.
- Join only the tuition classes you really attend. You can leave a class at any time.
- If something looks wrong, tell us and we will fix it.
- Ask your parent or guardian before you sign up, and before any payment.
For parents and guardians: StudyRaah is an education-only website for Std XI and XII Commerce students. By agreeing at sign-up you allow your child to use it and you accept these terms on their behalf. You pay for any plan, unless your child's professor, tuition teacher or coaching class pays for it.
For professors, tuition teachers and coaching classes: you use StudyRaah to support your own students. Section 9 sets out what you may see and do, what you may upload, and how paying for your students works.
1. About these terms
These terms apply when anyone uses StudyRaah XI-XII (the “site”), run by Siddharth Perti (“we”, “us”). They should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.
2. Students under 18 and the parent or guardian's role
- Most of our students are under 18. A student under 18 may use a StudyRaah account only with a parent or guardian's agreement, which is given by the tick box at sign-up.
- The parent or guardian accepts these terms for the child, is responsible for supervising how the child uses the internet, and is the only person in the family who should buy or renew a plan. A student's professor, tuition teacher or coaching class may also pay for the plan (see section 5).
- A student who is 18 or older can agree for themselves.
- A parent or guardian can ask us at any time to show, correct or delete their child's information, or to close the account.
3. What the site is, and is not
The site is for education only: chapter notes, quizzes, mock tests, board papers, practice sums, textbook solutions, planners and an AI study helper.
- It has no advertising, no chat or messaging between students and no public profiles. Students do not upload photos or files.
- Doubts: a student can send a study question about a chapter to their own professor or tuition teacher, who can reply. Only that student and that teacher can see it. If a reply is wrong or worrying, the student or parent can tell us through Report a problem.
- Tuition classes: a student can join a tuition teacher or coaching class with the class code the class gives them, when creating their account or later from their Profile page. The class's teachers can then see the student's progress, each only in the subjects and standards they teach. The student can leave at any time.
- Class name and notes: for a student who joined a class, the top of the site may show that class's name and photo or logo, with “powered by StudyRaah”, and the chapter page may offer that class's own notes before the StudyRaah one-pager. This content comes from the class, not from us (see section 9).
- Notifications: if someone turns them on, the app can show notifications on their phone, for example when a doubt is answered or a plan is switched on. They can be turned off at any time in the phone or browser settings.
4. The account
- Choose a name (a first name or nickname is fine) and a password, and keep the password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account; tell us at once if someone else has used it.
- Give correct details: standard, college, and the parent or guardian's name, email and mobile. We use them to run the account and reset a forgotten password.
- What we save, for students and parents: the student's name, standard and college, the parent or guardian's name, email and mobile number, and quiz results, so the student can sign in from any device and a forgotten password can be reset by email. Only the site admin sees the parent's details; the student's college professors see results. No ads, no tracking, never sold. Guests are never saved. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
- Some names are reserved (for example the admin's). We may refuse or change a name that is offensive or misleading.
5. Guests, free use and plans
Guests can use the free part of the site. Some features (mock tests, board papers, AI help, one-page PDFs, complex sums and textbook solutions) need a student account with a plan.
- Prices: Monthly ₹249 and 6 months ₹1,195 (20% less than six monthly plans) per student, in Indian rupees. Any taxes that apply will be shown before payment. We may change prices for future purchases; a price already paid is not affected.
- Paid plans are not on sale yet. Until they are, the admin may give Pro access free for a period of time, and may end it when that period ends.
- Who pays: a parent or guardian, or the student's professor, tuition teacher or coaching class. Students should not make payments themselves.
- Plan period: a plan runs for the period bought. After it ends there is a 15-day window to renew; after that the account becomes view-only, like a guest account, until renewed. Plans do not renew automatically.
- Moving from Standard XI to XII: a student can send a request from My account. The admin approves or rejects it and the parent or guardian's email is told the result. The plan period does not change when the standard changes.
Plans paid by a professor, tuition teacher or coaching class
- Who can be paid for: only students who are on the payer's dashboard, that is, students assigned to a college professor by the admin, or students who joined a tuition teacher or coaching class with its class code.
- Group prices per student: 6 months ₹1,195 for 1 to 9 students, ₹1,076 for 10 or more, ₹1,016 for 25 or more and ₹956 for 50 or more. Monthly ₹249, ₹224, ₹212 and ₹199 for the same group sizes. The price is set by the number of students in one order. Group prices apply only to payments made through a professor, tuition teacher or coaching class account.
- How it works: the payer chooses the students and the plan, pays the exact amount shown to our UPI ID, and enters the payment reference number. We check that the payment has reached our account and then switch on the plan for every student in the order, normally within 2 working days. If we cannot find the payment, we tell the payer and no plan is switched on.
- When the plan starts: on the day we confirm the payment. If a student already has a plan, the new period is added after its end date, so no days are lost.
- The plan belongs to the student: once switched on, it stays with that student for its full period, even if the student later leaves the class or the payer's account is closed. It cannot be moved to another student.
- The account stays the student's: paying for a plan does not give the payer any extra access. The payer sees only what their dashboard already shows, plus whether each of their students has a plan and until when. The payer cannot change the student's account, password or results.
Payments, refunds and cancellations are covered in the Refund Policy.
6. Content and ownership
The site's summaries, quizzes, solutions, designs and software belong to us or are used with permission. The syllabus, textbooks and board question papers belong to their owners, including the Maharashtra State Board and its publishers; our material is an independent study aid based on them and is not an official publication.
Not affiliated: StudyRaah XI-XII is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) or the Maharashtra State Bureau of Textbook Production and Curriculum Research (Balbharati). Board names and textbook titles are used only to show which syllabus the content follows.
Students may use the content for their own study. Please do not copy, resell or share it in bulk (for example by posting PDFs online or running a paid group), copy the site, or use a script or bot to download it.
Content from tuition teachers and coaching classes: notes, photos and logos uploaded by a tuition teacher or coaching class belong to that class. We store them and show them only to that class's students. We do not check or approve them, and we are not responsible for their accuracy. Showing a class's name or logo on the site does not mean that we recommend or endorse that class, or that the class is part of StudyRaah.
7. A study aid, not a guarantee
We check our content carefully and correct any mistake reported to us, but no study material is perfect. We do not promise any marks or exam result. Ask StudyRaah uses AI, which can give wrong or incomplete answers; it is meant to help with study topics only.
8. Using the site properly
Do not: try to break into the site or other people's accounts; overload it; type abusive, harmful or unlawful content into any box, including a doubt or a reply; pretend to be someone else; give or ask for anyone's personal details; share your account; join a class you do not attend or share a class's join code publicly; or use the site for anything other than study.
9. Professors, tuition teachers, coaching classes and the admin
- Accounts: a professor, tuition teacher or coaching-class owner account is created only after the admin approves an application. A teacher who joins a coaching class with its class code is approved by the class owner, not by us. The owner decides each teacher's subjects and standards, may also add teachers directly, and is responsible for the teachers of their class.
- Which students they see: college professors see the students of the colleges and classes the admin assigns to them. Tuition teachers and coaching classes see only the students who joined their class with its code, until the student leaves; in a coaching class, each teacher sees them only in the subjects and standards the owner gave them. Everyone sees only the results of their own subjects.
- Using student information: it may be used only to support the student's learning. It must not be used to contact a student privately outside the site, to advertise or sell anything, or be shared with anyone else. The admin alone holds the parent or guardian's contact details and uses them only about the account.
- Doubts: replies must be about the student's studies, respectful and suitable for a student under 18. Do not ask a student for their phone number, address, photos or social media, and do not send links to outside groups or paid services.
- Uploads (notes, photos and logos): upload only material you wrote yourself or have the right to share. Do not upload scanned textbooks, guide books, board papers you have no right to copy, or anyone else's paid material. Uploads must be suitable for students, and must not contain advertising, phone numbers, payment requests or links to outside groups. Your class name and logo must be your own. By uploading, you allow us to store the material and show it to your students while your account is active.
- Removal: we may remove any upload, photo or doubt reply that breaks these rules, or that someone tells us infringes their rights, and may suspend or close the account. If you believe material on the site belongs to you and was uploaded without permission, write to us (section 14) and we will act on it promptly.
- Paying for students: see section 5.
10. Availability and changes
We try to keep the site running but do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change, add or remove features and content. We will not remove a feature a family or a class has paid for without offering a fair remedy.
11. Ending use
A student or parent can delete the account at any time (Progress → My account), or ask us to. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or misuses the site, and will say why where we can. Deleting or losing an account ends any plan on it; see the Refund Policy. When a tuition teacher's or coaching class's account is closed, their notes, photo and logo are removed, and their students keep their own accounts, results and plans.
12. Our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using, or being unable to use, the site, including exam results, or for content uploaded by a tuition teacher or coaching class. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount paid to us for the account concerned in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits any right under consumer law that cannot be limited.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please write to us first so we can try to put a problem right. Courts at Maharashtra will have jurisdiction, unless the law gives you the right to go elsewhere.

15. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; if a change matters, we will tell signed-in students, professors and classes and, where needed, ask the parent or guardian to agree again.
This page is a plain-language draft prepared for the site. It is not legal advice, and it should be reviewed by a lawyer before paid plans start.
